ULAN BATOR, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- A culture and tourism promotion event called "Feel China" that aims to strengthen cultural ties between Mongolia and China kicked off at the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery here Wednesday.

Hundreds of people from various fields of both countries, including Mongolian Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Tsedenbal Tsogzolmaa and Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Xing Haiming attended the opening ceremony.

"Mongolia and China are longstanding close and friendly neighbors. In recent years, the traditionally friendly relations between our two countries have been enriching in various sectors," Tsogzolmaa said at the ceremony, adding that the event shows that relations between the two countries are growing stronger.
