PHNOM PENH, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Revenue from ticket sales to foreigners visiting Cambodia's famed Angkor Archaeological Park reached 104 million U.S. dollars in the first eleven months of 2018, up 9 percent over the same period last year, said a press release on Saturday.

The ancient site received 2.32 million international tourists during the January-November period this year, up 6 percent over the same period last year, said the release from the state-run Angkor Enterprise, which is in charge of ticket sales at the park.

China is still the biggest source of tourists to the park, as South Korea and the United States rank the second and the third, respectively.

The entrance fee to the site is 37 U.S. dollars for a one-day visit, 62 dollars for a three-day pass, and 72 dollars for a week-long pass.

Located in northwest Cambodia's Siem Reap province, the Angkor Archeological Park, inscribed on the World Heritage List of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1992, is the kingdom's most popular tourist destination.
